Opportunities for chores
We allow individuals to live the most normal life they are able by allowing them to participate in household chores. Doing so helps them take pride in their contribution to the household. However, we ensure that chores correspond with their abilities to allow the individuals to expand their skill set.
Assistance with activities of daily living
Our experienced staff understand what it means to serve our individuals and provide compassionate assistance to everyone in our program. Staff are available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week and work with individuals to attain independent living skills and provide them with opportunities for personal growth.
Unique food experience
We understand that meal time represents much more than the simple intake of nutrients. It provides a rich social experience and the opportunity to enjoy a familiar pleasure. That is why we offer menu options that meet individual cultural preferences. We regularly have international food days where individuals have the option of trying out foods from foreign cultures.
Outdoor time
Our individuals have frequent safe and supervised opportunities to go outdoors and embrace nature, even if it is simply in a fenced-in yard, is good for the resident’s health and well-being. Staff provide non-medical transportation to activities such as doctor’s office visits, restaurants, and more.
Community opportunities
Our group home gives residents opportunities to go into the community. This might include classes at the YMCA or shopping trips with our staff. Helping residents to become part of the community outside of their residential home gives them a greater sense of purpose and normalcy.
Facilities
Our accommodation and residential facilities are top notch because we believe that the individuals deserve a beautiful place to call home. There are numerous common areas in the home and each bedroom is furnished with a smart TV for added convenience.
